Tanner Fieldhouse

Ally - 17-6-2020 at 01:50 PM

The historical Tanner Fieldhouse is a 4,235-seat multi-purpose arena. Built in 1949, the fieldhouse serves as home to the KRU men's and women's basketball teams.

Tre - 18-6-2020 at 02:42 PM

After hours in the fieldhouse. Shit was bringing back memories of Hell Week from the year before. They were his first pledge class at KRU and he couldn't have been prouder of that line. Well...most of that line. He couldn't account for three of those niggas as they'd crossed by the skin of their teeth. But the rest of the line? They'd worked hard. Learned their history. Didn't give him shit. Took whatever the frat handed to them. But this line? Disgraceful One was a subpar ass legacy, three were complete fucking idiots, most the rest of them were entitled and second guessed everything they were told...and then there was Kidd...or "Kardashian" as one of the other frat over the line named him. And just like one of those bad bodied Kardashian sisters, Kidd felt like he was owed. He felt like because he was on line, that was what made the line and the rules relevant. Actually, he felt like he made the damn rules...and that just wasn't the case. Not in the very least...which was why he and his line were meeting Tre' in Tanner. Because some rules...and some niggas just needed to be broken. Compliance was necessary and Tre' was about to get the compliance he was due.

"Welcome gentlemen." Tre muttered from where he was posted on the wall by the door, the last on those miserable negros tiptoed through the door, confusion on his face like the rest of his shit line. The confusion was expected. Because everything until now had been learning. Learning and repeating until what they were taking in turned into what they were putting out. Repetition until the shit they learned everywhere else because obsolete and fraternity replaced it. But tonight was different. Dee had used his connect with maintenance to get them into the fieldhouse after hours (one of the things he was good for besides running his damn mouth), so no one would know they were there...nor would they be interrupted. Dee and the rest of his frat were in black and were already in the line's faces...talking shit.

Tighten that pussy shit up nigga! Who the fuck you lookin' at? You don't look me in my eyes! The fuck!

"Dead that shit..." He didn't raise his voice, but his brothers fell silent. Tonight wasn't about all that. This wasn't Hell Week. This...was a teachable moment. Tre' moved from the wall where he stood, taking his hoodie off as he took his time, walking slowly. Finally, he faced the line...staring at their faces. Every eye was on the floor...

"Now that you can hear me...I said, 'Good evening, Gentlemen'." He said again, handing his hoodie to Dee.

Enzo - 18-6-2020 at 03:37 PM

"Nigga, shut up and come on!" Enzo wasn't going to lie. He was five weeks into this frat shit and he was counting down the days until it was done. He wasn't super into spending all this time away from Minna, he wasn't big on being yelled at night after night, and most of all, he was ten seconds from slapping the shit out of Maurice's annoying ass who had a joke for everything. He was the one nigga on line that he didn't see it for, but the rest of the crew was solid. Prophytes would never say that shit, but Enzo knew they weren't the worst of the worst. Well, not all of them...

Enzo pushed Maurice along as they all made their way to the main court of the fieldhouse. This was a deviation. They didn't do too many fieldtrips and anytime they did...it was never good. Enzo's knees were still fucked up from the shit they did in a fucking pineapple field on the other side of the damn island. It was making him nervous if he was being honest. And he shouldn't have been alone in that.

Despite Enzo's best efforts, Koi's dumbass had gone to see Devyn at her after party last night. Bad choice for a hundred reasons, but top two were: they were supposed to be on social probation and Devyn was fucking their damn PM. Tre' was MIA from set last night, but that wasn't a surprise what with he and Devyn having...whatever the fuck they had. Enzo had asked Minna to make sure Koi and Tre' didn't run into one another at the party and he was confident in his baby's ability to rock a show, host the after party, and run interference for their star-crossed ass friends...but he wasn't as confident in Koi. Their location didn't bolster that confidence neither.

Tre' offered a quiet welcome as the line filed in. Without instruction, they all lined up a good distance from the frat, in order (learned that lesson the hard way week 2 thanks to Mr. "I Got Jokes" ass Maurice). Dee (Big Brother ArRHOgance to them) shouted a customary 'SNAP!' and they all linked arms, grit faces on. The brothers started their antagonistic bullshit and the line took it, per usual. Enzo was going through the motions, but he couldn't help but feel like tonight was gonna be on some other shit. Tre' confirmed. Dead that shit. It was barely a whisper, but there was silence. He let the anticipation build, approaching before he spoke again. He greeted them.

"Good evening, Big Brother Homegrown-," the line responded in unison. Crisp. Perfect. But as Enzo peeked up from his chosen spot on the floor, he saw something different in Tre's eye. He had plans.

Koi - 18-6-2020 at 05:02 PM

Again with the bullshit Koi's brain had complaints running on repeat. Mostly because he was over this set shit before it'd even really gotten started. One of the hardest things was having to remind himself that he was here for him. He'd made the choice to pledge. Not because his roommate was doing it. Not because there was some deep down pull inside of him that needed guidance, discipline (Zori wouldn't agree), or brotherhood. None of that bullshit. Koi was doing this because...because he wanted to see something through to the end. He wanted to start something and finish it without out any fuck ups and without any cop outs. He just wanted something that he put his hands on to not go to shit the second he touched it. And this could be it. That is, if he could survive it.

He'd been quiet as he, Enzo, and Maurice (the deuce of the line) made their way to Tanner, rolling his eyes quietly at the fact that he'd just been there hours earlier for practice. No offense, but he was tired of the fieldhouse. Practices had amped up because of the two games they were playing that week against one of the school's rivals. Coach Kekoa wasn't taking it easy on them either. They were pulling two a days that week, almost as if Coach had no idea what burn out could do to them if he kept that shit up. Whatever. It wasn't Koi's call. Just like being at Tanner again wasn't his call. But here he was. Following the directions he was given. Doing all he could to not fuck it up.

The gym was out of the norm, but as long as he got through the night without too much shit...and all that motherfucking yelling, he'd be good. Not like the yelling was something that them shouting ass niggas would just "stop". But Koi couldn't help but quietly hope that the night was a little like last night. They'd yelled, but Tre' hadn't been there. Not that Koi wanted to think about why he wasn't. It was hard enough leaving Devyn at that party for her to meet up with Tre', who Koi knew would be there. Minna had invited Koi...but Devyn had invited Tre'...a fact that Minna didn't skimp on telling Koi while they were planning Devyn's party. And Koi knew that he had to do what he had to do. Which was swallow that shit and move on. He'd made that decision the second he told Devyn that they'd have to keep it...platonic from now on. The same platonic he KNEW Tre' wasn't being with Devyn.

He rolled his eyes as he took his place, willing thoughts of anything Devyn and Tre' oriented out of his mind. It was enough that he had to see Tre's ass every fucking night. Thinking about any possibility of what was going on between Devyn and another nigga that wasn't him? That was overkill. He just wanted the night to end. Quickly. With an ice pack. And a fucking Tylenol.

"Good evening, Big Brother Homegrown... Koi'd parroted the greeting, staring at his feet, grateful he didn't have to look Tre in his smug fucking face. His eyes stayed downcast as he listened to Tre's footsteps echo on the empty court. Also paying attention to the fact that the nigga had on street shoes on the court... Of course he did.

"Good to see ya'll...on time." Even though Koi couldn't see Tre's eyes, he knew they'd flitted over Koi as he passed him. So yeah, Koi had been a little late to set yesterday. Okay...and? He'd made it. Fuck, Tre' didn't even show. Actions reflected motherfucking leadership...

"Heard some of y'all strolled in this bitch like the shit was optional. Reminder...it is not. On time...or don't fucking come." The bark was in Tre's words, but his tone remained calm. Even. And for some reason, it unsettled Koi. Made his stomach lurch...

"It's a new night, gentlemen. Time to learn a new lesson. Drop arms. Backs on the wall."

Hesitantly, the line started moving...which obviously wasn't fast enough for Tre'.

"FASTER. BACKS ON THE FUCKING WALL! DID I WHISPER?" He shouted, quickening steps as bodies hit the back wall of the gym near the doors they'd entered. They were close together, shoulder to shoulder.

"Now sit on it... SIT!"

Tre' had officially lost his fucking mind.

Quintin - 20-6-2020 at 01:59 AM

Quintin always had this weird mix of excitement and dread when he came to set. In theory, he was having fun, right? Making friends, hanging out, doing regular college shit. It was like an episode of a show on Freeform or whatever the fuck. In reality though...this frat shit was kind of wild. For five weeks Quintin had been slapped, pushed, and low key spit on (shit happened when niggas was yelling in your face all the time) all in the name of "knowing his history". Now was history his favorite subject? No. But he learned real fucking quick that it probably needed to become his favorite if he wanted to make it through this haze. Because that's what it was. Every night he showed up for set was a haze. It hadn't been anything too strenuous though...not yet anyway.

Quintin did his best not to turn away as Dominic - Nic when he had Q's dick in his mouth - screamed at him for looking him in the eye. It took everything he had not to laugh thinking about how that was also his request when he found out Q had made line. See, Nic was in the process of "discovering" himself. That's the way he'd explained it after they met at a party and had a one nighter. He wasn't out yet, but he was working on "living his truth". Truly, it had been like coming out Bingo listening to him talk...Anyway, they had the one nighter and started kicking it. Nic was cool and Q didn't mind being his friend with the benefit of fucking, without the benefit of talking about it.

Things got murky when he found out Q applied for the frat. He did not like that shit and for a while thought it was some elaborate scheme to out him to his people. But nah. Q wasn't like that and Nic knew it. Once the initial shock wore off he was actually down to help him. Which he should've been! Q applying was his fault, anyway! In all the time they were chilling last semester, Qunitin saw the doors Kappa opened. The parties, the girls (and guys), the connections. Q had met and photographed Colin fucking Kaepernick at the last Kappa service event. That picture blew his fucking Instagram to smithereens and he was still getting work off it. It was only right that he put in an app to see what more the org had to offer.

Good to see y'all...on time. Without too much movement Qunitin nudged Kidd and rolled his eyes a little. They all knew that "on time" jab was about him. They'd all run like a hundred laps last night because this nigga showed up half an hour late without too much of an excuse. A family commitment. As Dee informed him (and the rest of them), they all had families. They all had other commitments. Kappa is the only commitment that matters, Kidd. And they spent the rest of the night doing suicides and repeating that shit until like 2am. Fuck Koi for that. And fuck him twice for whatever Tre' was about to be on because Tre' was always worse.

And it looked like Quintin wouldn't have to wait to find out what worse was as Tre' finally raised his voice, telling them to move a little quicker with following instructions. They all hit the wall and sat. Frat talked amongst themselves for a bit as they left the line to start feeling this fucking wall sit. Q didn't have the quads for this shit...Lucky for him, just as his shit started to shake Dee called to him by his number. Six. Pop out. Quintin snapped up, arms stuck to his sides as relief washed over him and his fucking glutes. That relief was short lived, as Dee made his request. What did we learn about time last night, Six?

"To be early is to be on time. To be on time is to be late. To be late is unacceptable." Yeah, that was their other mantra last night. He wouldn't soon forget that shit either. Another lesson thanks to Koi Kidd. It was weird. Kidd honestly was pretty cool outside of being late last night. He was taking this shit seriously and actually the opposite of the entitled, stuck up dude people expected. Quintin was glad to have him as his back...when he wasn't fucking up.

Q was waiting for further instruction, but it didn't come. Instead, "Okay, nigga. What you waiting on, a cookie?" Q didn't answer as Dee got in his face. The silence lingered because he for sure knew not to respond to that shit. "Gold star, motherfucker! SIT!" Quintin immediately did as he was told, reclaiming his space on the wall to squat with the rest of them. Fuck.

Did he say this shit felt Freeform? Something told him it was about to get very HBO.

Tre - 21-6-2020 at 03:36 PM

To be late is unacceptable.. The mantra Tre' lived by, really. And he learned just how true that mantra was the hard way, just like the niggas in front of him burning out their hamstrings and squatting a wall. And just like them, he couldn't say that he'd always been the most malleable. He learned quickly though, taking every lesson his big brothers taught him to heart. Letting it sink into him until every fact became second nature and every lesson became a building block towards him becoming a better man. The man he was today. But he and the men on his line had been made from different fabric than the poor excuses for pledges that stood...well squatted before him. These niggas? They were willful, didn't take shit seriously...made decision for themselves instead of the line. And didn't understand what it meant when Tre' reminded them that everything that they do for themselves is for their line. One line. One body. Obviously, the legs on this particular body didn't know how to listen to the other parts considering that they found themselves at a social event they didn't fucking belong at. Like Tre's uncles, brilliant Kappa Men as well, had said it best...a body with the butt making the decisions ain't a body at all...it's a dumb ass... Well fucking said.

"Miles ain't wrong..." Tre' chuckled at Dee handing Six his ass before he fell back in line, squatting the wall with the rest of his line.

"...late is motherfucking late. And being on time is a rule. That's the thing about rules." With a silently look between he and Tre', Dee moved from his place in front of the line, slow jogging the short distance to pull one of the folding chairs from the stack next to the bleachers. He brought it back, unfolding it in front of Tre'. There wasn't any conversation between them as Dee knew what was coming next.

"Rules are put in place for a reason, gentlemen." Tre' explained as he sat down, crossing his leg over the other at the ankle. He slouched in the chair, falling silent as he watched the line follow directions. The room was quiet, save for sounds of sneakers squeaking against the floor as some of the less athletic niggas on line tried to keep from sliding down to the floor as their legs threatened to give out. Grunts of exasperation and almost silent curses were the only other sounds in the room. And Tre' couldn't lie, they were motherfucking music to his ears. It was hard to keep a straight face watching the way their faces were cracking. Sweat was already pooling in the corners of grown out ass fades and hair lines in need of a serious line-up. Tre' could still see the question in their eyes when they were too busy trying to keep their legs from buckling and they fucked up and made eye contact with him. Why were they here?

"When you follow rules. You learn how to follow leadership. When you learn how to follow leadership, you learn how to be a leader. Obedience is power..." With a quick pause, he sighed, clapping his hands once, so loudly that some of the line jumped in surprise.

"Kardashian. Fall out..." Those three words stirred up sound in the silence, teeth sucking and almost inaudible words rippling over the line. Because without guessing, Tre' knew that the line was starting to figure out the answer to their question.

"...and make it quick. Your line and their WEAK ASS LEGS ain't got all day."

Enzo - 21-6-2020 at 04:14 PM

Miles ain't wrong...Enzo didn't like that shit either. They all had fucking names. They even had numbers. Why these niggas chose to come up with nicknames for them when it just felt...extra, Enzo didn't really know. All of this shit was extra though so, what should he have expected? Meh. Some of the names were kinda clever, he'd give them that. Miles, or Quintin as he momma named him, was Miles Morales. Q was a photographer, Peter Parker was a photographer, and Miles Morales was the Black Spiderman. Okay. And then there was...

Kardashian. Fall out. Enzo wasn't going to lie, that one always made him chuckle. It was fucked up and Koi wasn't anything like a Kardashian outside of the money...but it was funny. Usually. Today, a chorus of teeth kissing and annoyed groans escaped the line as they finally got told what they were being punished for. Koi's stupid ass rolling up to set late. Ugh. Enzo told him NOT to do that shit and now they were all suffering, FOR A SECOND TIME, for something HE did.

"This is bullshit-," Enzo muttered. They had been squatting here for a few minutes and Enzo never skipped a leg day, but this was starting to wear on him. Koi moved quickly when prompted, stopping in from of Tre' and keeping his eyes downcast. That wasn't new. Koi really only ever looked at Tre' when absolutely necessary, for reasons that were completely understandable. It looked like that shit might come to a head tonight though. Koi just needed to keep his fucking cool and do whatever the fuck Tre' was thinking quick before they had to carry some of their line back to their rooms.

Koi - 22-6-2020 at 03:36 PM

Kardashian. Koi felt his lip involuntarily curl as at the "nickname that wasn't a line name but wasn't his fucking name either". It was the more than stupid creation of none other than "Big Brother Homegrown" who thought it was a fuckin' chuckle that Koi and the Kardashians had "SO MUCH in common". Namely daddies that made them famous... Hardy fuckin' har. The hardest thing for Koi? Not putting his fist through the slick ass smile Tre' wore when he called Koi a "K" name that his Moms definitely didn't give him. But as he called him by last name only, Koi knew that tonight was about business. Not that he had to guess too hard as they were still paying for the shit he'd pulled last night. But it was beyond worth it. At least it was for him. He'd gotten to see Devyn. After fighting with her for what felt like the millionth time...but that wasn't what mattered. What mattered was he'd seen her happy. He'd done something that made her smile instead of the shit he'd been doing to cause the opposite lately. And even though he didn't want to, he'd left. Because the night wasn't about them...or him. But he hadn't left early enough and he rolled up thirty minutes into set, which was a huge nope. And it looked like that huge nope was about to turn into the gift that kept on giving. Which wasn't a surprise... Tre' never missed the chance to make him miserable...

"Well. Look at you..." Tre's nostrils flared as he gave Koi the once over, stopping at his face, eyes narrowing in obvious annoyance. Koi internally sighed. What the fuck was it now? Considering that he pledged Koi so fucking intensely (and they weren't even into Hell Week) that his line took notice... but what was it now? Did Devyn bring him up in conversation? Did she say Koi's name when they were... yeah, no. He wasn't even going to let him mind wrap around that one as the fact that Koi was breathing in front of him was enough for Tre' to be annoyed.

"...you're just so confident, Kylie. That's what I like about you. Your confidence..." Red flag on the fucking play. Because Tre' didn't like SHIT about Koi, much less how Koi carried himself...which Koi didn't fucking get. Even when he dumbed himself down, stopped wearing shit that Tre' couldn't even start to pronounce correctly, and kept his mouth shut, Tre' was still on his shit. Like tonight. Koi'd entered the room correct, moved when he was supposed to, damn near fell out from the pain in his legs considering he'd JUST left practice and Tre' STILL was on him.

"...how you always seem to think that shit doesn't pertain to you because you're...you." Tre's eyes turned cold at that last comment and Koi braced himself.

"LAY YO' MONKEY ASS ON THE FUCKING FLOOR..." Tre's voice escalated, Koi's body moved before he even really thought about it, the reaction making his face sour, his eyes rolling as he pressed himself flat on the hardwood. A shout from one of the big brothers to "GRIT UP" made him switch up quickly, his face falling into the hard frown that he was feeling anyway. Gritting on line had never been this fucking easy.

"And I fucking HEAR YOU, EIGHT." Koi knew Tre' was pointing at Enzo, Tre's go to when he was trying to put a nigga in his place.

"If you want some too, you can lay RIGHT THE FUCK next to your front, Paper." Koi clenched his teeth as he heard Enzo's fucked up nickname, his body almost rising off the floor. But he stayed there, his body shaking with anger as he laid pressed to the floor, feeling Tre's eyes on his back...feeling...what the fuck? Koi knew this asshole wasn't..

"How you feeling down there?" Tre's foot met Koi's back, the heavy Timbs he wore to set pressing Koi's chest further into the floor. Koi cringed against the wait of his foot, willing himself NOT to curse. Not to let Tre' hear one fucking sound escape from him. Tre's voice was soft again, coated with that dangerous calm that Koi was learning didn't mean anything "good".

"Because you know this is where you belong, right? Underneath me..." He leaned closer to Koi, so that only he could hear his next words.

"...like your girl was last night. That didn't last long though, you know how she is when she's fuckin'. She likes the top. Shit, I like it too..."

Quintin - 22-6-2020 at 04:17 PM

This shit was torture. Q knew at any moment he was gonna fucking buckle and they were going to have to do something even worse because his ass was the weakest fucking link. His Chucks slid on the hardwood as his thighs burned and he tried his hardest to dig his toes in. And waht was it all about? Koi fucking Kidd. Again. Enzo offered the commentary Q was sure the whole line was thinking. They did this shit last night. If Tre' missed it, that was on him!

But they all should have known Tre' wasn't going to pass up the chance to shit on Koi whenever he could...and his dumb ass gave him permission the second he showed up to set late. It wasn't a secret that Tre' didn't really care for Koi...okay, that wasn't true. Tre' fucking HATED Koi and he never missed an opportunity to express that hate. Koi usually took it and rolled with the punches, but tonight seemed different. Tonight seemed -

LAY YO' MONKEY ASS ON THE FUCKING FLOOR!

Quintin jumped, almost losing his balance before he caught his squat. Koi was on the ground before Q could blink again and Tre' was still sitting, like that loud ass command didn't erupt from his hell pit of a diaphragm. His attention turned. He wanted to remind Enzo of his place...Not that he ever really stayed in it. He was "Paper" when they were trying to fuck with him, but he got away with a lot because what paper really meant was Legacy. His dad was Kappa so he was pretty much guaranteed a spot...Knowing that, he often spoke up a little more...not tonight though. Tonight Enzo's face darkened and he gave an anything but amused short chuckle, but nothing else.

Tre' went back to Koi, his foot now on his back, pressing him into the floor. He leaned in close to say...something, but they were too far from anybody to make out what it was. This was the one time Q was wishing Tre' was trying to share with the class! He wanted to know what the beef was between - Fuck!

Maurice gave, his legs kicking out from under him as his ass hit the floor. Q and a few others did their best to stifle the laughs. Honestly, Q was just glad it hadn't been him. Hopefully, this meant they could stop with the fucking Wall Sit Championships now...Especially as their tail gave out too. This was either going to put an end - oh shit. Enzo stood up on his own, back still on the wall.

That shit was a challenge.

Tre - 22-6-2020 at 06:44 PM

There it was. The reaction that Tre' had been waiting for. Because even though the line and his frat couldn't see it, those fucking eyes had bitches on campus practically wet for the nigga? They cut up at Tre', sharp as knives and red as hell. Oh? He was "big" mad huh? He could stay fucking mad. And more importantly, he could do exactly what he was doing right now, which was laying the fuck down and remembering his place. Which was and would always be under Tre'. Because whether Kidd wanted to believe it? He wasn't SHIT. He wasn't shit to the Fraternity, he wasn't shit to the school (the team was pissy anyway and he definitely wasn't changing that), and he wasn't shit to the person who he would be thirty minutes late for set for. Devyn. Yeah, Tre' knew. And no matter what Koi sacrificed to be with her (including the thighs of his fucking line), Devyn still ended the night with Tre'. In HIS bed. Fucking on HIS dick. The shit was simple, really. It was all about priorities. Koi just needed to find his...and Tre' didn't mind helping.

"Yeah, I see you. I see that anger in those pretty green eyes..." Tre's pushed his foot down again, getting the grunt from Koi that he'd been waiting for the second his boot met the nigga's back. That grunt was submission. Obedience. The shit that he should've been exhibiting when he fucked his line and did what HE wanted to do instead of what was good for his niggas whose backs he was supposed to be learning to have.

"Don't worry. Fun's just starting, nigga." Roughly he pushed Koi's face to the floor as he took his foot off his back. And the line had gone to goddamn shambles. Dee was all over them, cursing so furiously that Tre' could almost see the words...and the spit flying from his mouth. Though it didn't seem like it made much difference. Deuce's legs had given out and Tail fell shortly after...and what the fuck were those? Smirks? Giggles?

"DOES THIS LOOK LIKE A CLOWN SHOW TO YOU? TIGHTEN THE FUCK UP..." And like toy soldiers, the line came to attention again, faces scowling, arms linked...all except one.

"Oh okay, Eight. I see you." He walked away from where Koi lay on the floor, his face red with anger. And with his fucking Kappa eyes, what did he see? Was that...nah, couldn't be! A standing, obstinate eyes Enzo. Excellent.

"Taking a note from Seven's book, huh. Bucking the mother fucking system..." Tre' walked closer than he really had, his chest nearly touching Enzo's. For a paper nigga, Enzo wasn't THAT bad. He followed suit, knew his history (barely, embarrassingly for him...and his daddy...and his granddaddy). But it was moments like this one when Enzo's "legacy" made his fucking balls drop a little too far.

"But since you're up and clearly not following the directions I JUST gave you, can you clear up a little something for me? I need some clarification, because shit is a little confusing..." Tre' tapped his chin with his finger tips, rubbing his beard as he stared at Enzo...and Enzo stared through him.

"I seem to be a little lost on why...YOUR Front was late to set yesterday. Do you know where he was...Paper?"

Enzo - 23-6-2020 at 05:37 AM

...And I fucking HEAR YOU, EIGHT. It took everything in Enzo not to mutter a 'So?' to this nigga. Tre' always did this shit with Enzo. Tre' knew he couldn't put him off line for no bullshit and Enzo knew that shit too, so they were always an immovable object and an unstoppable force when Enzo tried to take up for one of the line. That was brotherhood right? Did it usually get him a few extra push ups and some negative attention? Yeah, but it was the right thing to do. Even if his fucked up nickname got thrown in his face when he did.

Tre' offered him a spot right next to Koi if he wanted to speak up tonight, but he didn't...well not until his put his fucking timbs on Koi's back. Enzo was already scowling at his situation, but he could feel it deepen. The line watched Tre' lean in and say what they all knew had to be some slick shit as Koi visibly heaved on the floor. Whatever he said had Enzo's boy pissed. He was bout to say some smart shit to draw attention, but Maurice saved him cursing loudly as hi legs buckled. At least he was good for something. The much needed distraction snapped Dee into action, his mouth going a mile a minute about Maurice's weak ass legs. And then there was Chris, the tail.

Chris tall, lanky ass got a few laughs and Enzo took that to man they weren't doing this shit anymore. He stood up just as Tre's attention turned, asking if they thought this shit was comedy. He shouted an order at them and the line snapped. Enzo usually would have too, but with the way Koi was still breathing all heavy on the floor, he figured he'd do his roommate a solid. He was his back after all. He should have it. He stayed on the wall, feeling his legs try to relax after being in that damn wall sit for so long and that was all Tre' needed. Oh okay, eight. I see you...

He stood respectfully at attention, but he still wasn't where he was supposed to be and he knew it. Tre' approached and Enzo kept his eyes locked straight ahead. He stopped dead in his face to start talking in circles before getting to his poi - fuck. He was asking Enzo why Koi was late.

"I do, Big Brother Homegrown-," Enzo answered through gritted teeth, his eyes still looking into the gym instead of at Tre'. He knew exactly where Koi had been last night, but he wasn't telling Tre's obsessed ass. Especially not with him spitting that slick "paper" shit, like Enzo wasn't earning his shit like EVERYBODY FUCKING ELSE. Well, don't leave us in fucking suspense, Paper. Where was he? Dee's annoying ass. This Keenan and Kel tag team shit he and Tre' pulled night after night was getting old. But that didn't matter did it? They were waiting for an answer. Enzo's eyes shifted, falling square on Tre's as he lied to his fucking face.

"He had a family obligation-," Enzo kept a straight face, but the way Tre's features darkened told him he knew that shit was false. He didn't know Enzo knew the truth though so he was going to die with the lie. "That's no excuse though. Like Big Brother ArRHOgance taught us last night, 'The Organization is the only commitment that matters'."

It took everything in Enzo not to chuckle. He was literally playing in their damn faces and there really wasn't shit they could do about it, because they couldn't prove Enzo knew shit else but what Koi told them...So yeah.

The nigga had a family obligation.

Koi - 23-6-2020 at 02:17 PM

...why YOUR Front was late...do you know where he was...

Fuck. The question that Koi knew was coming but was hoping that Tre' would be too focused on torturing him ask anyone else except him. But there it was. The room had gone so fucking quiet that Koi could hear his own breaths, coming in short puffs as he lay face down on the floor...exactly the way Tre'd left him. If he moved an inch, he knew that his body would take that as a sign that he was finished. That he was done with this bullshit and he was ready...no, he was free to walk right up to Tre' and punch him square in his big fucking teeth. So he laid there, his fucking nose pressed so close to the floor that he could smell the oin the used to clean the wood. The shit he was doing for these fucking letters... and he wasn't going to let his nigga join him on the floor because of...shit. But what the fuck could he even do?

He had a family obligation. The pause in conversation told Koi what he knew was already happening. Enzo was staring straight ahead. Tre' was glaring at him...waiting for him to crack. Waiting for one moment of weakness so he could jump on him like he'd done Koi. But Enzo was stronger than Koi. He'd been stronger through the whole process. All the times he could've said "fuck it" and done what ever he wanted to do. See Minna. Miss set. All because his place was already guaranteed. He was Legacy. There wasn't much he could do to get him kicked off the line. The best that Tre' and the other big brothers could do was hope he dropped on his on accord. But that wasn't Enzo. He did everything the line was charged with. The early mornings. The late nights. And he hadn't cracked once. Not like Koi. Now, here Enzo was...lying for him. All because he had to see Devyn. He had to make their fight up to her. He had to be there for her. And did it really matter? At the end of the day...she'd just ended up in another nigga's bed...

"You hear that, Kimmie?" Tre' chuckled looking away from Enzo, his short laugh reaching Koi's ears. Making them burn even hotter.

"Even your own fucking Back has no idea where your LYING ASS was...shit. Fall back, Eight. Make room for him..." Koi could hear Enzo's feet move, (not as quickly as they should've) linking up with the rest of the line. And again...Tre' was walking back to Koi lay, his foot on his back again like it never left.

"Don't worry. I'll tell them where you were. Inquiring minds, right? Give me a fifty while you down there."

Koi grunted in response, pushing off the ground against the weight of Tre's foot, the resistance making his already trembling arms shake even more, pain reaching into his shoulders as he forced himself into the "push up" stance, his body rising and lowering as quickly as it could...fast enough to get this shit over and done with.

"Your boy..." Tre' was talking to Koi's line now, dramatically pausing through a self-gratifying smile.

"...this nigga right here? Well, he didn't give a fuck about y'all. Because this nigga...thought that a bitch was more important than all of y'all. So, he snuck his trifling ass into a social event. Even after the rules that I love SO MUCH said he shouldn't..."

Fuck!

Quintin - 23-6-2020 at 04:26 PM

Hold the fuck on...Was Tre' telling them that Koi was at a party instead of being on time to line last night? That couldn't be the case. The shit didn't fit. Quintin hadn't known Koi for that long, but he'd known him on line. He'd proven himself humble, tenacious, and most of all loyal. Enzo took a lot of shit for the line, but Koi took his share too. Just a few days ago he'd spent extra time with Q trying to get some of this history shit down. He gave a fuck. Him blowing them off for a party was the exact opposite of him giving a fuck.

But why would Tre' say it if it wasn't true? Thing was, Tre' hated Koi, but (as he'd made abundantly clear all night) he followed the code when it came to this frat shit. If he wanted Koi off line, he was going to have a legitimate reason. Breaking Social Probation was a legitimate reason. He wasn't going to present it if he couldn't prove it...so it was true, but...what the fuck...Q literally couldn't wrap his mind around it. The murmurs had been running through the line and the bros about what Tre' was talking about so maybe Quintin got a little comfortable and forgot himself, but he needed more information.

"That shit don't track." All at once silence fell and Q could feel every eye in the gym on him. Fuck. He'd just called Tre' a liar hadn't he? Excuse you? Dee was on it before Tre' could be, his voice eerily calm in comparison to the hype he'd been putting out all night. He told Quintin to pop out and Q unlinked and took a step. Dee covered the distance between them quickly. Do you know better than your PM, Six? You run this shit now?

"No, Big Brother. That's not what I'm saying, I just-," Dee interrupted telling him to make it real plain real fast. "I just want to hear it from Koi. If he fucked up I want to hear it from him."

Tre - 23-6-2020 at 05:08 PM

And this was the fucking reason why rules were rules. They kept the peace. They kept little niggas with no letters in their PLACE. But when the rules were broken? Niggas got a little relaxed. A little comfortable. They were late for set. They went to socials. They defied orders. They spoke out of fucking turn...

"Damn! Everyone's the PM in this bitch tonight!" Tre' laughed, his out of place chuckle not quite reaching his eyes as he stared at Quintin, his stare burning into him. Really though? Tre' was more than done with this line. He knew he'd never really fucked with them like that because...well, this. But tonight, he would've been more than happy to leave them in this damn gym sitting the wall all night and he wouldn't have thought anything about it. He wouldn't have cared. Because all the back talking, leaning to their own understanding (as his grandaddy would've called it), and thinking niggas gave a shit when they didn't was wearing on him.

"So, instead of shutting the fuck up and doing what you're supposed to be doing, which is shutting...the fuck up, YOU want an explanation. Is that what I'm hearing, Miles? You wanna solve the crime?"

Koi was mid push-up when Tre' pushed his boot down hard enough to make Koi's body move downward again, his breath whooshing out as his body unexpectedly met the floor.

"Well, Kendall. Maybe you should give them what they want. What you gotta say to your line? Hmm?"

The gym went quiet again, the line and Tre's frat brothers all listening for the answer that they knew could either be Koi's saving grace...or his fucking end. Because anyone knew that social probation was a rule that you did not fucking break. It wasn't just about following directions. When on line, all that mattered was the LINE. No distractions. Not a single fucking one. Not even when it was tied the the pussy that gave you up to fuck with a better nigga. Not even then...

"What was that?" Tre' asked, egging Koi on to speak up so that his line could hear him. Because that whispering shit that he just tried wasn't an answer. Not tonight.

"I said, I did it. I fucked up..." Koi's breath came out as a wheeze as he was barely able to speak any louder with Tre's boot on his back. Tre' moved his foot, slowly crouching beside Koi who's place was still on the fucking floor.

"I did it. I fucked up." He said louder.

Enzo - 23-6-2020 at 05:43 PM

Whelp.

I did it. I fucked up.

What else was there? He did it. He fucked up. Sure, there was a lot more to it than that, but on the whole Koi had been selfish. He had. Enzo told his ass that he shouldn't have gone to Dev's party, but he had and now he was here...probably about to get kicked off line, all his efforts for naught. Social probation was the simplest of boundaries not to cross. Would Enzo have loved to see Minna in her first show? To show up and support the way a good...the way any nigga that fucked with her should? Did he want to be with her at that after party watching her enjoy the fruits of her last few weeks of unending scheduling and catering? Yes. But he had priorities. Right now, Enzo owed it to his dad to get this done...Like most things since Koi and Enzo had been cool, Koi was doing this shit for himself. He'd done this shit for himself and now he was facing the consequences.

What were those by the way? He could hear the wheels turning in the silence that lingered in the gym after Koi's confession. The line was dying to know what all of this meant for him. For them. Were they losing him to the bullshit or was it going to be more drills? All of the line knew not to speak up anymore, but they weren't the only ones curious. So what are we going to do with him? He lied to his bros. He lied to us. Do we send him back to his bitch? Dominic. Dominic was asking the right questions (minus all that 'bitch' shit. He and Tre' both needed to cool the fuck out on that). But, really.

What now?

Tre - 25-6-2020 at 05:23 PM

"That's a damn good question, Big Brother Khaos..." Tre' had to agree with Dominic, whose name was "chaos" for a real fucking reason. Dominic was always direct and to the point and he never thought too much about the consequences or reactions that his truthfulness would bring. Like the reaction he was getting right now. At his words, faces and feet shifted. The movement was subtle, but Tre' saw it. And it was exactly what he wanted. Because he knew what "unsure" looked like...and it looked a lot like Koi's line. Tre' knew what was going through their heads as they watched, trying to stay as unreadable as they could. What should they do? Koi was their Seven. He wasn't necessarily as pointless to them as he was to Tre'. Because to them, he was dollar signs. He was an expensive car and expensive clothes. He was "easy ass women that fucked pockets". Why would they want to give that up? Then again...he was a liar. He was selfish as fuck. He gave a fuck about the line as long as the line served him. He wasn't Kappa material. Period. And now, the line was going to have to weigh the facts. Was he going to stay or was he going to go...

"...and I don't think it's up to us to decide. It's up to them..." Tre' stood up from where he'd crouched next to where Kidd's pathetic ass was still laying, face still pressed to the floor. He motioned to the line and immediately they jumped to action, standing an arms length apart from each other, the gap between Six and Eight a little larger than the rest.

"...he's YOUR brother. YOUR responsibility." He said, clearly addressing the line as he wound himself in between them, bodies at attention, eye staring straight forward. Even though they weren't moving, Tre' knew they were listening.

"His actions are your actions. His disobedience is your disobedience." His footsteps stopped at before he moved in the space between Quintin and Enzo. He stared at them, knowing exactly what was running through at least one of their heads. Enzo wasn't going to vote him off. That was obvious. He'd already either lied to Tre' or pretended to not know shit about Koi's presence at Devyn's party. Whether it was a lie or ignorance, Tre' could tell that Enzo was playing his part. He had Koi's back. But what about Q?

"You were real confident about your boy earlier, Parker. How you feeling now?"

Quintin - 27-6-2020 at 11:27 AM

He lied to his bros. He lied to us. Do we send him back to his bitch? How had this shit escalated so fast? It was a normal night of them getting their asses handed to them all of ten minutes ago. Now they were talking about kicking his back off the line? What the actual fuck?! Quintin knew to keep his mouth closed though, especially after how the last time he'd spoken out of turn went. He watched as Tre' agreed with Dominic and thought about what he wanted to see next. Q kinda of knew the answer. He wanted Koi gone, yes, but he was going to do it in a way that caused the most damage. If Tre' were a Game of Thrones character, he'd be Cersei. Petty and vengeful, but dramatic to a fault. Tre' was going to choose violence.

Quintin didn't have to wait long to be proven right. He wasn't going to kick Koi off the line...he was making them do it. Tre' waved his hand in a way that told them to separate and they did. He then weaved his way between them as he explained Koi's connection to all of them. How he was their brother. Their responsibility. They were one body and Tre' was asking if they should remove what he considered a cancer.

Q felt Tre' standing between he and Enzo and it was making him anxious. He didn't like this shit. The suspense. He didn't like not knowing what was going to happen next...He liked what actually happened next even less. Quintin's breath caught as Tre' asked him specifically what he thought. Q literally bit his tongue to hold in the 'Fuck' that wanted to leak out. But, fuck man!Why did it have to be Koi? There were at least two niggas on this line he would've gladly voted off this fucked up Survivor island. Hell, their Three was talking about dropping anyway. But Koi...

Q turned to Tre' unsure and the nigga didn't offer shit but a look that said his question hadn't been rhetorical. Q sighed, "I feel like he got me in these streets looking STUPID-," he paused, that part was true and the answer to Tre's question, but it wasn't an answer for what he thought they should do with Kidd. "And, I think you're right...He's our brother." Tre' rolled his eyes at that response, but Q wasn't done.

"Kidd is my back and he's had my back since this sh-," whoops. "Since we started intake. He made a bad choice, but I don't think that means he has to be out."

Koi - 27-6-2020 at 02:04 PM

This was it? This was how the process was about to end for him? Not that Koi was surprised. He had everything working against him. He had since the process started. Since Tre' figured out that Koi wasn't secondary, instead...he was competition. Since Tre'... since that night at the Pretty Nasty when Tre' walked through the door with Devyn and he and Tre' had both figured out their common denominator. Koi should've known at that moment that he wasn't long for this Kappa shit. He should've thrown the middle finger at that moment and got his ass out of that club before Enzo had the chance to talk him out of it. But...that was it wasn't it? The shit that kept him there despite every single reason he had to just leave. The support that he didn't deserve from niggas that didn't share blood or time with him. But they were done for him regardless. Enzo hadn't blinked an eye when he lied for him, telling Tre' he'd been late to set for because of familial obligations. And then there was Q...

Kidd is my back and he's had my back since we started intake...

Koi couldn't lie when he said that Q surprised the shit out of him. Not that he'd said anything wrong, but Koi and Q didn't weren't like he and Enzo. He and Enzo were roommates. They'd made friends pretty quickly and they were way tighter than Koi'd found himself being with anyone else he'd met at KRU. That included Q. They ran in different circles. Of course they'd had to learn each other pretty well. They were cool, but Koi could safely say that he thought it didn't go any deeper than that. But that shit that Q'd said? The way he'd been down for Koi regardless because he was Koi's Front? That made shit different. Koi wasn't sure how yet...but it did.

"Of course you don't think he should be off the motherfu-..." Tre' spoke under his breath, the gym falling back into silence after Q had spoken his piece. And unsurprisingly, Tre's voice didn't sound too happy. Probably because he was hoping that even if Koi's Back wouldn't rat him out, his Front would. The disappointment was apparent. Because if Q hadn't given a fuck about him, the rest of the line would probably have done the same. And that was Tre's new goal right? Get the line behind him and finally get rid of Koi Kidd... Not that it was a surprise to Koi considering Tre' couldn't fucking stand him...

"Well hearing that bullshit..." Tre' said louder, his eyes scanning the rest of the line, ready to stop fucking around with those the closest to Koi and get on with what his goal really was...which was to get rid of Koi, period.

"...I'm wondering if the rest of you feel the same way. Because when one of you 'lay down your lives for your brother', it always comes with a price." Koi could hear the sneer in Tre's voice now, the obvious threat of a punishment in his words if the rest of the line made the same decision that Q and Enzo were making. Because even if his Front and his Back would stick their necks out for him, nothing said that the rest of the line would do the same.

"Y'all willing to pay the price...for him? When he sure the fuck wouldn't do it for you?"

Enzo - 27-6-2020 at 02:57 PM

Tre' was pissed. Enzo worked overtime to keep his smirk from reaching his lips and he didn't dare turn to face Tre' full on, but he could see his face sink further into annoyance as Q told him that he thought Koi deserved a second chance. For a second, Enzo wasn't sure what Q was going to say. Honestly, he didn't know Q and Koi were tight like that. And with the way Q started...it was looking real bleak. But he was right in the end. Even with Enzo knowing the backstory, he could agree that Koi made a bad choice; especially when you considered how it effected the rest of the line. That didn't necessarily make him a bad person though.

Now Tre'? Tre' was a bitter asshole who was proving it as he made his annoyance known before addressing the line again. He asked how the rest of them felt. He wanted them to be sure they were willing to put themselves on the line for a nigga that "wouldn't do it for them". Enzo rolled his eyes then. Tre' had so much to say about a dude he didn't fucking know, but Enzo wasn't going to make waves. Right now it didn't matter what Tre' was saying. It mattered what the line said.

They all looked to one another silently trying to come to a consensus. A few shrugged. A couple were obviously shaking their heads 'no' but Enzo wasn't going to wait to find out if that meant 'no, get rid of his ass' or 'no, let him stay'.

"Koi has shown us loyalty before. He'll do it again. And he'll do it more often than this dumb shit." Enzo spoke for the group and he could see Tre' raging on the inside. Tre' looked around, trying to catch eyes and intimidate them into challenging Enzo's answer, but no one did. Koi was their brother. If people thought different they weren't saying so now...much to Tre's irritation.

"So what's it going to be Big Brother Homegrown? There's a price. We'll pay it."

Tre - 28-6-2020 at 04:45 PM

The silence in the room, more specifically silence of the line, was music to Tre's ears. Because it was the final nail in Kidd's casket. The sign that his ass was on the way out the damn door, off a line he didn't deserve to be on. It was lowkey satisfying, really. Tre' wasn't necessarily hiding the fact that he didn't give a shit about Koi Kidd, but it felt good to know that his own line felt the same way. And when they were presented with the chance to get rid of him, not one of them were speaking up in his defense. Most of their faces were saying what Tre' felt. Was he really worth the time? He did what the fuck he wanted and that fucked with their line. Did he belong here in the first place? Maybe, just maybe, the line wasn't full of complete, fucking dumbasses. Maybe they were were...

Koi has show us loyalty before... What the fuck was this? Tre' felt his eyes roll, his head falling back as his annoyed glare landed on none other than Legacy's stupid mouth moving. Of course, he was singing the praises of Koi, spouting that shit off like he was Kidd's fucking disciple instead of his line brother. All the speech was missing was Enzo on his knees and Kidd's dick in his mouth. But even with that Disney-ass speech, Enzo was winning his weakest link-ass line back, their easily influenced asses back to the cult of fucking Koi Kidd. Right... Was Tre' genuinely surprised? Of course not. He judged the line correctly. Weak. Forgiving when they should've been getting rid of the weakest link. And honestly...beyond his concern.

"Of fucking course..." Tre' muttered, chuckling sourly at Enzo's presidential speech.

"...whatever. This pointless ass fucking line. Brother Khaos...do whatever with them. I'm fuckin' done for tonight..." Without a backward glance, Tre' pushed past the line, pretty sure that he caught Enzo's shoulder before he left the gym, slamming the door open, not stopping to listen to it clang closed behind him.
